BGMI 3.7 update rollout has officially kicked-off in India, developer Krafton announced today. BGMI, which is short for BattleGrounds Mobile India, is set to introduce a slew of upgrades including a new mode called Golden Dynasty and new map called Rondo, in addition to a range of “localised enhancements designed exclusively for Indian players” once the update starts arriving on compatible devices. For those unaware, BGMI is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. PUBG received a very similar 3.7 update about a week ago.
In a statement shared with the media, Krafton said BGMI 3.7 update will seamlessly integrate global innovations with India-centric experiences for its 200M+ strong community. “BGMI continues to evolve with every update, and with 3.7, we are delivering one of the most innovative gameplay experiences ever seen in the game,” Minu Lee, Head of IN Publishing Department, Krafton India was quoted as saying. “Golden Rondo and Golden Dynasty bring fresh strategic depth, while localised features ensure that Indian players feel a deeper connection to the game.”

The BGMI 3.7 update rollout starts today, March 13, with exact availability to vary basis of the platform and part of the world. One can expect the update to be available on Android a bit earlier, with iOS to follow.

The BGMI 3.7 update is headlined by the expansive 8×8 km “Rondo” map. Krafton says it combines modern urban environments with traditional natural landscapes giving players access to diverse combat scenarios. Key locations the developer outlines are Jadena City, NEOX Factory, Yu Lin, and Tin Lung Garden.
In Rondo, players can explore deployable EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) devices to disrupt enemy electronics, dual flight paths for diverse drop strategies, and high-speed transport options for rapid rotations. Escalators and moving walkways are available to enhance mobility while destructible terrain mechanics allow for tactical edge on case-by-case basis. The map adds dynamic weather variations as well.
The other highlight is “Golden Dynasty Mode” which transports players to a mystical kingdom with floating islands and regal palaces, per Krafton. Notable features include Reversal Blade for rewinding actions and Golden Scepter for creating resurrection zones.
As is usually the case, the BGMI 3.7 update unlocks new vehicles and weapons such as the 6-seater Pico Bus and Blanc SUV, JS9 SMG, Explosive Bow, and Stun Gun. Armour Repair Stations and the Ghillie Suit (Forest) enhance add to stealth.
Elsewhere, the 3.7 update brings localized enhancements including Hindi voice packs and culturally inspired content.
