How often do we see Apple, makers of iconic products including iPhone, iPad, and Mac, make and launch something exclusively for India? Not that often. In fact, if memory serves me right, Apple has never come up with any such product. Until today.

In 2024, Apple is different in India. It is cruising. Be it with products, sales, or manufacturing, it’s as if Cupertino has flipped a switch or something. And it’s joining in the country’s festivities. Deals and discounts would always come up during peak Diwali season, but this time, Apple is also launching a device that celebrates India’s rich and vibrant traditions. Meet the Beats Solo Buds Festive Special Edition.

The Solo Buds were launched very recently in India alongside a couple of more Beats by Dr. Dre products including the Solo 4 headphones and Pill portable Bluetooth speaker. They come in a choice of Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple, and a very fetching Transparent Red. Beats has added a fifth option in time for the festive season through a collaboration with Delhi-based designer Aaquib Wani. For those unaware, Beats is a premium audio brand owned by Apple.

For an extremely limited period, you could snag the Beats Solo Buds Festive Special Edition, for free on purchase of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. That offer has ended, but, you can still buy one from Apple if you fancy the new variant.

If you’re wondering what it looks like, we have you covered. And before you ask, no, it doesn’t cost more than the other variants. They are priced at Rs 6,990. The feature set remains the same, too, the only difference comes by way of styling and packaging.

The Beats Solo Buds Festive Special Edition earbuds have a unique two-toned bright and burnt orange colour scheme which is accented with purple. They are said to be inspired by the diya lamps and intricate rangoli patterns commonly seen during Indian festivities.
