Tonight’s launch event by Apple is going to be largely about the iPhone 17 series – a brand new model range that’s expected to bring major updates to the user experience. Consisting of four new models, which include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Air, these products are expected to bring more Apple fans to the stores and encourage existing ines to make the upgrade.
However, the iPhone 17 series is not going to be the only star of the show. Leaks suggest the company is set to introduce a host of other new Apple products, thus upgrading the overall ecosystem in general. The ‘Awe dropping’ launch event from Apple is expected to debut the Apple Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3, AirPods Pro 3, and several other secondary products.
There are even rumours of a next-gen Apple Vision Pro 2, although that seems highly unlikely considering a packed event schedule.
Apple event September 2025: All other products planned
We begin with the Apple Watch models, of which there are expected to be three models.
Apple Watch updates:
The Apple Watch Series 11 is rumoured to bring subtle yet significant refinements rather than a dramatic redesign, unlike its predecessor. According to leaked information, the new smartwatch is expected to feature a faster S11 chip, providing quicker performance and improved efficiency. Health-focused upgrades are also on the horizon, with rumours suggesting the long-awaited introduction of blood pressure monitoring and a new sleep score feature. A new ‘Workout Buddy’ feature, powered by on-device AI, is expected to offer real-time coaching and personalised feedback during exercises.
Joining the Watch Series 11 could be the Watch Ultra 3. The updated version could have all the new health features along with the new S11 chipset. Apple could also add a bigger battery to the Watch Ultra 3.
The Apple Watch SE 3rd Gen is also expected to debut this year, bringing the edge-to-edge design introduced with the Apple Watch Series 7, but miss out on the advanced health monitoring features.
AirPods Pro updates
Similarly, the AirPods Pro 3 are set to receive their first major update since 2022. Leaks point to a new H3 chip that will introduce a number of advanced features, including enhanced active noise cancellation (ANC) and improved sound quality. The new earbuds are also expected to integrate health sensors for heart rate and temperature monitoring, transforming them into a wellness companion. A redesigned, more compact charging case without a physical pairing button is also expected. Apple could also use AI to allow for real-time language translation.
Miscellaneous announcements
Beyond the flagship models, Apple is also expected to refresh its other product lines. Speculation hints at a second-generation HomePod mini and AirTag, bringing advanced connectivity features and superior security. The AirTag update might be one of the most relevant non-iPhone updates Apple could announce, considering its privacy-related concerns in the past.
