These days, it’s not just movies or red carpet looks that celebrities are chasing, it’s their own brands. From Alia Bhatt’s Ed-a-Mamma and Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty to Deepika Padukone’s 82°E, celebrity-owned brands are becoming a big trend.

But here’s the thing, just being famous isn’t enough anymore. Today’s buyers want honesty, good quality, and real value for their money. And one star who seems to have cracked that code is Ranveer Singh.

Turning energy into enterprise

Ranveer is known for his lively, no-filter personality and he’s bringing that same spark to business too. Among his ventures, SuperYou, a protein and wellness brand, is getting a lot of attention and big goals

According to co-founder Nikunj Biyani, the brand has its sights set on Rs 500 crore in revenue within the next three to five years. SuperYou began with protein bars and has now ventured into multigrain protein chips which is a perfect mix of indulgence and health for snack-loving India.

‘Ranveer is a real partner’

What sets Ranveer apart from the usual celebrity-endorsement formula is how deeply involved he is in the brand’s creative process. “He’s not just the face, he’s a real partner,” Biyani told Business World.

Every new product, he revealed, goes through Ranveer’s family’s taste test. “He brings storytelling, creativity, and a sharp consumer lens,” Biyani added.

Offer Ranveer couldn’t refuse

This partnership wasn’t born out of a formal pitch meeting, infact it started on a basketball court. Biyani, who lives in the same building as Ranveer, recalled on The Indian Business Podcast Clips, “During a game, I told him, ‘I’m going to make you an offer you can’t refuse.’ Later, instead of a presentation, I sent him four GIFs — the last one said, ‘Let’s bond.’ At some odd hour, he replied, ‘I love it.’”

That spontaneous energy and sense of fun set the tone for their collaboration which is authentic, playful, and full of personality.

Creative co-founder, not a typical brand ambassador

Biyani insists that Ranveer’s involvement goes way beyond marketing. “He’s the co-founder, not a brand ambassador,” he said. “He’s been part of everything, from the name to packaging. He tries every product himself before launch.”

It’s clear that for Ranveer, SuperYou isn’t just another endorsement deal, it’s an extension of his personality which is bold, high-energy, and real.

What’s next for Ranveer

While his brand continues to grow, Ranveer is also gearing up for his next big-screen outing with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, releasing on December 5. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal in key roles.
