Vikram is the oldest cousin of Isha, Anant, and Akash Ambani and the grandson of Dhirubhai Ambani. His father owns V.M. Salgaocar Group of Companies. The company mainly deals in iron ore, coal, and wind energy.
Vikram Salgaocar’s career and education
He is the director of V.M. Salgaocar Hotels and Resorts Private Limited. He started his career in 2007 as an associate with McKinsey & Company and then joined Reliance Entertainment as the Business Development Manager. He did his BBA from the University of Pennsylvania. The Wharton graduate shuffles his time between varying business interests in the USA and India.

Dattaraj Salgaocar, Deepti’s spouse, established Sunaparanta with the aim of preserving Goa’s culture and heritage. Deepti serves as the vice-chairperson and advisory board member of the institution.
