Born to Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia and Princess Priyadarshini Raje Scindia of Baroda, Ananya is the younger sibling of Mahanaryaman Scindia. Reports indicate that she completed her secondary schooling in Delhi at The British School before pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Rhode Island School Of Design abroad. Sources reveal that Ananya gained valuable experience as an intern with Snapchat and currently serves as a design intern at Apple.
In 2018, Ananya marked her entry into the social scene by participating in the Le Ball held in Paris. This exclusive event gathers around 20 of the most stunning young women worldwide during Thanksgiving weekend each year for le Bal des Débutantes, recognized as the world’s most prestigious debutante gala. Unlike some balls where parents can register their daughters, the invitation is the key for debs to be presented at this prestigious event. Attendees hail from various corners of the globe, with prominent representatives from Chinese industry, Indian royalty, Hollywood entertainment, and European nobility consistently making their presence felt.
At the age of 16, Ananya adorned herself in a Lecoanet-Hemant ensemble, an Indo-French label, during her debut at Le Ball. According to Paper Magazine, Ananya shared insights about her dress, stating, “It was inspired by the microscopic images of butterfly wings. I participated in the design process from the beginning, and it took a full year to create.” Her dance partner for the evening was her brother, Prince Yuvaraj Mahanaryaman. Expressing the experience, she exclaimed, “We had never danced the waltz together before, but it was enjoyable, and we kept each other amused with our goofy jokes,” as reported by Paper Magazine.

The Hindu Maratha Scindia dynasty, often known as the Shinde dynasty, held sway over the renowned Gwalior State in central India. The world’s largest carpet is displayed in the Durbar room, the palace’s crown treasure, as a symbol of the Scindia dynasty’s great tradition and taste.
