He attended Cornell University to obtain a degree in computer science, where he developed his technical expertise and stoked his unquenchable curiosity. Rohan started down the route of technological innovation after earning his doctorate. He co-founded Soroco in 2014 with eminent computer scientists Arjun Narayan and George Nychis.
Akshata Murty’s early life and career
The 42-year-old Indian heiress and now, the First Lady of Britain, Akshata Murty was born on April 25, 1980, in Hubli, India. She is the daughter of Sudha Murty, a well-known novelist and philanthropist, and Narayana Murthy, a co-founder of Infosys, and Sudha Murty.
Akshata’s passion of study sent her to Claremont McKenna College in California where she studied economics and French after attending Baldwin Girls’ High School in Bangalore. She earned a diploma in clothing manufacture from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising thanks to her love of fashion and design. Later, she graduated from Stanford University with a Master of Business Administration.
Akshata joined her father in founding the London division of his Indian business and later graduated to venture capital.
In addition to her amazing commercial endeavours, Akshata established herself as a successful fashion businesswoman. She started her own fashion company, Akshata Designs, in 2007 with the goal of showcasing Indian culture and craftsmanship. The brand sought out and supported artists in far-flung communities, using their creations as inspiration to produce one-of-a-kind clothing.

At Stanford University, where Rishi Sunak, now the UK Prime Minister had obtained a Fulbright scholarship and that is when destiny brought Akshata and Rishi together. They fell in love when their paths intersected.
Rishi Sunak, the British prime minister and head of the Conservative Party, is married to Akshata Murty. Both of the couple’s daughters are called Krishna and Anoushka. When not residing at 11 Downing Street, they are believed to own a number of homes, including a £7 million property in Kensington.
