Bollywood’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is as much about devotion as it is about glamour, and this year’s festivities were no exception. The ten-day celebration witnessed Bollywood celebrities stepping out in their finest traditional outfits, turning the festival into an annual style showcase for fans. Tara Sutaria joined the bandwagon this year with a glamorous saree.
While Tara and Veer have been spotted together at private gatherings before, this year’s celebration marked what many are calling their ‘hard launch’ as a couple on social media. The actor shared a series of photographs from the festivities, sparking buzz across entertainment circles.
Tara Sutaria’s couture saree
For the occasion, Tara chose a champagne gold tissue Kanjivaram saree from designer Tarun Tahiliani. Priced at approximately Rs 4,39,900 on the designer’s official website, the saree stood out for its intricate craftsmanship. Its pallu featured delicate pearl embellishments, while the border showcased aari embroidery with floral threadwork and sequined detailing, giving a seamless mix of heritage and haute couture.
Tara styled the saree with a polki choker necklace, stacked gold bangles, and traditional jhumkas. Her sleek bun, adorned with a jasmine gajra, added a classic desi touch, while a pearl-shaped bindi and soft, dewy makeup completed the look. The actor opted for minimal tones, allowing the saree’s artistry to remain the highlight.

Veer Pahariya’s outfit
In contrast, Veer Pahariya kept his appearance simple in a plain white sherwani without any embroidery or ornamentation. While some praised his minimalist approach, others noted the understated look created a striking contrast against Tara’s heavily embellished couture.
On the work front, Tara was last seen in Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s thriller Apurva (2023) and has previously appeared in films such as Ek Villain Returns, Heropanti 2, Tadap, and Marjaavaan. The actor made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with Student of the Year 2. Most recently, Tara featured in AP Dhillon’s hit music video ‘Thodi Si Daaru’, released on July 17, 2025, which quickly gained millions of views online. She also turned heads at India Couture Week 2025 in Delhi, walking the runway for Rose Room by Isha Jajodia in a dramatic statement gown.
