In Kharnak Valley, Amit meets Chopel Ji, the leader of the nomadic community, whose stories of resilience left a lasting impression. “The nomads don’t seek recognition or admiration, yet they are some of the most grounded people I’ve ever met. It wasn’t just about surviving in a harsh environment—it was about thriving respectfully with the land,” Amit reflects.

From encountering wild animals in remote plains to witnessing a rare double rainbow at Pangong Lake’s Merak Village, the journey is sprinkled with magical moments.
