Actor Vijay Deverakonda escaped unhurt after his car was involved in a minor accident in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district on Monday, police said. The incident took place when the actor was returning to Hyderabad from Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh, the birthplace of spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

According to police, Deverakonda’s car grazed another vehicle, resulting in minor damage but no injuries. “All is well. The car took a hit, but we are all fine,” the actor posted on X. He added that he even managed to get a workout in afterward, joking, “My head hurts, but nothing that a biryani and sleep won’t fix,” his post read.

Police said there was no major damage or disruption caused by the accident. “Biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you,” the actor wrote.

Following the collision, Deverakonda reportedly stepped out of his car and continued his journey to Hyderabad in a friend’s vehicle. His driver later filed a complaint with the police, who have registered a case of rash driving against the driver of the other car.
