Kuberaa Box Office Collection: The much-awaited comeback of Dhanush paired with Rashmika fared well on its opening day. With a Rs 13 crore Kuberaa box office collection on its release day, better numbers are expected over the weekend.
With occupancy breaking records for movies releasing lately, Kuberaa saw nearly 40% audiences in morning shows with 78.87% in night shows. The overall occupancy for Telugu however, could not cross 60%.
Starring stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil in key roles, the Sekhar Kammula directorial hit the screens on June 20. With positive reviews buzzing and audience numbers gradually picking up, the film is set to have a powerful performance at the box office, and among fans.
Kuberaa occupancy rates
The film Kuberaa has made a mixed splash across regions, with some cities rolling out the red carpet while others hit snooze. Mahbubnagar steals the spotlight with a staggering 88.25% overall occupancy—night shows touching a sky-high 96%, despite having just 4 shows.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad and Vizag show strong love too, both clocking over 67%, with Hyderabad pulling off 530 shows. Kakinada and Warangal weren’t far behind either. On the flip side, Bengaluru seems mostly unbothered with a lukewarm 35.25%, and NCR and Mumbai are practically cameos in this cinematic affair. Clearly, Kuberaa is ruling the smaller towns while big metros are yet to bend the knee.
The Tamil occupancy rates have been relatively less and hover below 35% on Friday.
