Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Tiger 3 opposite Salman Khan, on November 12, 2023, spoke to financialexpress.com’s Eshita Bhargava and spoke about her journey in the Hindi film industry. She said, “My journey in the industry has been marked by both challenges and successes. I’ve consistently viewed these experiences as opportunities for personal and professional growth. The most significant lesson I have learned is the importance of authenticity and staying true to my passion and craft. And to keep evolving, we evolve as people and that must show in one’s journey as an artist.”

While speaking about Tiger 3, she said, “The Tiger franchise is close to my heart, and I am excited to see the audience’s response.”

Katrina also discussed how she still gets nervous before the release of her films. “I do experience a certain level of nervousness before a film’s release. I see it as a natural process because you are so invested in every movie you do and, also, a constructive aspect of my commitment to my films and my audience.”

“The box office performance is always important as it shows you that the audiences have connected to the story and characters,” she added while talking about box-office numbers.

For the unversed, the previous releases of the franchise were Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Tiger 3 is the fifth film of YRF’s spyverse, and takes the tale forward from War and Pathaan. The action thriller also stars Emraan Hashmi, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra and Ranvir Shorey, with cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
