Described as a romantic crime thriller, the film takes a hyper-violent approach in exploring the scion of a business family, portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor, as he embarks on a revenge mission after his father is attacked.
The trailer introduces a toxic dynamic between Ranbir’s character and his on-screen father, played by Anil Kapoor, establishing the intense hero-worship that becomes a driving force.

The narrative evolves into an all-out gang war, introducing Bobby Deol as a mute villain, setting the stage for a direct collision between the protagonist and antagonist. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his previous successes with Arjun Reddy and its Hindi adaptation Kabir Singh, has announced that Animal has received an ‘A’ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification and boasts a runtime of over three hours and 20 minutes.
The film’s runtime places it among the longest mainstream Hindi releases, rivaling even Martin Scorsese’s epic Killers of the Flower Moon.
