After more than a year of romance played out on the world’s biggest stages, Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are officially engaged.
The global pop icon and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared the happy news on Tuesday via a joint Instagram post, featuring photos of Kelce on one knee and Swift beaming with her engagement ring. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift wrote.

The couple first made headlines in 2023, when Swift was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium cheering on Kelce during a Chiefs game. That appearance sent Swifties and football fans alike into a frenzy and marked the beginning of what would become one of pop culture’s most high-profile relationships.
