After the FBI and sheriff’s deputies visited Ben Affleck’s Los Angeles home over the weekend, the actor once again found himself in the midst of law enforcement attention. However, there is no indication that he is in any legal trouble. A video obtained by the Daily Mail shows the Hollywood star confronting police officers sitting in a car outside his Brentwood residence.

On Tuesday, the Accountant actor was seen driving his BMW out of his property. Appearing visibly frustrated, he eventually stopped in front of the officers, possibly expressing his concerns about private security guards in the neighborhood.

FBI Agents Seen Outside Actor’s Home During Investigation

While it remains unclear if the actor was home when the visit took place, photos have surfaced showing several FBI agents, identified by the agency’s acronym on their t-shirts and bulletproof vests, alongside officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, standing outside the actor’s residence early on Sunday, January 12. The agents and officers were observed waiting for several minutes outside the gate of the actor’s Brentwood home before departing. The reason for their presence is still unknown.

An FBI spokesperson informed Parade that members of the FBI’s Ground Intercept task force were operating in the area of the Palisades fire due to concerns over unauthorized drone activity. As a result, agents and local partners may be seen in various locations, including outside different homes.

Although the call box at the actor’s gate appeared to be used, it never opened. Agents then approached the gate, likely attempting to make a call, but that effort also failed. According to TMZ, the actor is not in trouble, as the agents were investigating a potential collision between a drone and firefighting aircraft.

The “Super Scooper” plane, which was involved in firefighting efforts to contain the wildfires in Los Angeles, has been reported as a key part of this investigation. These wildfires have destroyed thousands of homes and claimed 24 lives so far.

Reports suggest the 52-year-old actor visited his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, last week during the ongoing fires in California. However, it is unclear whether he was following evacuation orders or simply checking in on his family. As of Monday midnight, authorities reported that over 14,000 acres were destroyed in the nearby Eaton Fire, and more than 23,000 acres had burned in the Palisades Fire.
