In a tragic incident in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, a well-known television actor, Bhupinder Singh, has been apprehended following a violent altercation with his neighbors. The dispute, which originated from disagreements over cutting eucalyptus trees, resulted in the death of one person and injuries to three others.

Bhupinder Singh, recognised for his roles in popular TV shows like ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’ and ‘Madhubala,’ was reportedly installing a fence near his farm in Bijnor. The conflict arose when Singh decided to have some eucalyptus trees removed to facilitate the fence installation.

The disagreement escalated into a physical altercation, during which Bhupinder Singh and three associates assaulted members of Gurdeep Singh’s family, who owned the adjacent agricultural land. In the course of the confrontation, Bhupinder fired shots from his licensed revolver. Tragically, the gunfire claimed the life of Gurdeep Singh’s 22-year-old son, Govind, and left Gurdeep, along with his son Amrik and wife Beero Bai, injured. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment.

Bhupinder Singh has been taken into custody on charges including murder, attempted murder, voluntarily causing hurt, and violations of the Arms Act. Additionally, three associates—Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh, and Gurjant Singh—have also been arrested in connection with the incident.
