Looking at the camera, he quips, “Hanji, Punjabi aa gaye oye (Punjabis are here),” echoing a line that became iconic during his historic Coachella performance last year.
The Tonight Show’s official Instagram handle also shared a backstage video. In this clip, Diljit is seen exchanging gloves with Jimmy Fallon. Diljit, dressed in traditional Punjabi attire including a matching turban and pleated fan, carries a black glove which he swaps with Fallon’s custom-made glove adorned with the show’s logo.
