Tere Ishk Mein box office collection day 5: Starring opposite national award winner Kriti Sanon, Tere Ishk Mei has become Dhanush’s biggest Bollywood movie since his debut in Ranjhana, nearly a decade ago. Tere Ishk Mein collection day 5: Box office update
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Tere Ishk Mein had a mega opening day of Rs 16 crore. After a slump of mega-starrer releases in November, Tere Ishk Mein lit up the theatres towards the end. The weekend proved to be a great run for the Kriti Sanon-Dhanush starrer as it collected Rs 17 crore on Saturday and Rs 19 crore on Sunday.
The Rs 36 crore weekend collection was met with a 53% decline as the Monday blues kicked in. Making Rs 8.75 crore on its first weekday, it recovered and crossed the Rs 10 crore mark on Day 5. After recovering more than Rs 50 crore in three days, the film is now racing towards the Rs 100 crore mark. Sacnilk reported the final Tere Ishk Mein box office collection after day 5 to be Rs 71 crore. The worldwide total is reported to be more than Rs 80 crore and is set to enter the Rs 100 crore club soon.
The Hindi occupancy rates have been healthy as night shows remain most popular. As Tere Ishk Mein fills nearly 30% seats overall, the 1294 shows in Delhi NCR prove to be fruitful. However, with a slow-moving audience in Mumbai, the romantic drama has an occupancy rate of 25% across the 923 shows in the city. While Tere Ishk Mein barely entered Kriti Sanon’s top 10 highest-grossing films, Housefull 4 tops the chart with a Rs 210 crore lifetime collection. Dilwale, Adipurush, Luka Chupi, and Teri Baaton Mei Aisa Uljha Jiya taking the following four spots.
