Spotify Wrapped 2025: Music streaming giant Spotify has officially rolled out its year-end recap on December 3. As the app loyalists await their annual analysis, social media is flooded with the musical memory lane. From finding the year’s top artist to finding your listening age this year, Spotify has kept it fresh.

Based on the official website, the top ten artists on global charts, though, have not surprised fans. However, a new entrant, one of India’s top artists has officially made his debut among the top ten. Arijit Singh, the king of Bollywood love songs, now stands alongside the likes of Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Bruno Mars.

In India, Arijit Singh has claimed the top spot as the most-streamed artist for the seventh consecutive year. His song ‘Apna Bana Le’ also featured in the top ten most-streamed songs. Other notable artists from India, including Pritam and Shreya Ghoshal, followed Arijit Singh as the second and third most-streamed artists in India. Other names in the India top 10 include AR Rahman, Anirudh Ravichander, Sachin-Jigar, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Tanishk Bagchi, and Masoom Sharma.

Globally, Bad Bunny maintained his dominance over the list, claiming the title for the fourth time. While Taylor Swift remains the top artist in the US, the Super Bowl 2026 halftime headliner attracted 19.8 billion streams this year. His album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, also cinched the title of the global top album in 2025.

Indian Spotify rankings

Saiyaara, one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of the year, gave India its top album. While Aashiqui 2, the film’s ‘spiritual prequel’, secured the second spot, even after a decade of release. Similarly, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s music album also appeared in the top ten.

Independent artists also gained high recognition this year. Faheem’s album Lost and Found made it into the top ten, while Karan Aujla‘s P-Pop Culture also gained large popularity after its release. Podcasters Raj Shamani and Ranveer Allahbadia dominated among the national rankings in their category.
