Bollywood’s Badshah is back and this time in a never seen before avatar. On his birthday, director Sidharth Anand dropped the much-awaited teaser of King on Instagram, sending social media into a frenzy. The teaser opens with a dark, gripping tone. Shah Rukh Khan appears with silver hair, a bloodied face, and an intense, almost villainous expression fans have ever seen him in. In his hand, he holds a King of Hearts card which explains the title very well.
Flipping it toward the camera, he delivers a chilling dialogue that instantly grabs attention, “Kitne khoon kiye ye yaad nahi. Ache log they ya bure kabhi pucha nahi… Hazaar jurm, 100 deshon me badnam… Darr nahi deh shat hoon. (I don’t remember how many I’ve killed. Were they good or bad? I never asked. A thousand crimes, infamous across a hundred countries. I am not fear, I am chaos.)”
The teaser promises something new with strong emotions, exciting action, and a darker side of Shah Rukh Khan that fans have never seen before.
King teaser breaks internet, fans can’t keep calm
Within minutes of its release, the teaser took over X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Fans couldn’t stop talking about Shah Rukh’s fierce look and powerful dialogue delivery.
One user wrote, “My lord… he is back and how!” while another said, “Box office gonna blasttttt!” Many expressed relief after the video confirmed the 2026 release date, putting an end to rumours that King had been delayed until 2027.
Another fan posted, “Bang on. Another 1000 crore loading!” while someone else simply wrote, “It’s show tym… 2026 come soonerrrrr.”

The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, with Suhana Khan, marking her first big-screen collaboration with her father.
