In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked during an alleged robbery attempt in Bandra West late last night. The actor,  drenched in blood and barely able to walk, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital with the help of a local auto driver, Bhajan Singh, according to Indian Express.

According to Singh, a resident of Khar (East), his auto was stopped outside the Satguru Sharan building by a staff member who pleaded for urgent help. “The injured person (Saif Ali Khan), a staffer, and a child, who appeared to be his son Taimur, got into my auto and asked me to take them to the hospital immediately,” Singh said in a video shared by Indian Express.

Singh stated that he did not hesitate to assist the family and refused any fare for his service. “They were in such an emergency that I didn’t ask for money. Having such a big actor sit in my vehicle was satisfaction enough for me,” he added.

The attack occurred at approximately 2:30 am on Thursday at Saif Ali Khan’s Bandra residence. The actor stepped in after hearing a commotion in his son Jeh’s room, where he witnessed an attacker assaulting the child’s nanny. Khan suffered six stab wounds during the incident, including two deep cuts on his back and a minor injury to his neck. His team has since confirmed that the actor is “out of danger.”
