Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on Friday addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Sardaar Ji 3, the Diljit Dosanjh-starrer that features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, and has sparked widespread backlash amid rising India-Pakistan tensions.

Speaking to the media in Mumbai, Ajay took a measured stance, calling for open dialogue rather than finger-pointing. “Dekhiye, I don’t know where the trolling comes from, kya sahi hai, kya galat hai. I’m not in his shoes to comment on that,” the actor said. “Uski apni problem hogi, aur baaki jo log keh rahe hain woh apne point of view se soch rahe hain.”

Ajay emphasized that differing viewpoints should be resolved through conversation. “Do jab alag point of view hote hain, toh I think woh baith ke solve kiye jaa sakte hain,” he said. “I will not blame anybody, and I will not say ki isme se koi galat hai ya koi sahi hai. I think, they need a conversation.”

Diljit Dosanjh has come under heavy criticism online for collaborating with Hania Aamir, a Pakistani artist, especially in the wake of the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which has intensified public sentiment. The film, Sardaar Ji 3, was released overseas on June 27 but has not been released in India, adding further fuel to the controversy.

While the film has been well-received in international markets, its India release remains in limbo, with no official statement from the makers amid the backlash.

Ajay’s comments suggest a need for perspective and communication rather than outrage, as Bollywood continues to navigate cultural sensitivities in a complex political climate.
