Devara Trailer Released: Koratala Siva’s Devara Part 1, featuring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles, is set to hit theatres on September 27. The trailer was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai on Monday, with the film’s cast and crew in attendance.

In the 2-minute-39-second trailer, Koratala introduces the world of Devara: Part 1, where Saif’s character and his followers live in a fear-free environment. However, the arrival of Jr NTR’s character disrupts this peace. Saif’s character, while appearing to shake hands with Jr NTR, seems to be plotting against the man who introduced them to fear. Janhvi Kapoor is portrayed as a village belle in love with Jr NTR’s son, who is also played by him. Although he seems to differ from his father, he may need to step up when the time comes.

During their Mumbai visit, Jr NTR met his RRR co-star Alia Bhatt and filmmaker Karan Johar. Pictures from their meeting were shared by fan pages on X (formerly Twitter), showing the trio posing together and chatting in front of a backdrop reading ‘Devara ka Jigra.’ Jr NTR and Karan donned casual blue-toned outfits, while Alia wore a black dress with matching heels. A promotional video featuring these moments is expected to be released soon.

Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor are actively promoting Devara: Part 1 in Mumbai. Saif and Jr NTR wore beige outfits, while Janhvi opted for a blue half-saree with beadwork. A recent image of Jr NTR with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has also sparked interest.

As for the box office, Devara: Part 1 has already surpassed the $1 million mark in pre-sales in North America, with the official X handle noting, “He’s turning every part into his RED BLOOD sea.” The film’s North American premieres are scheduled for September 26, a day before its Indian release. Ticket sales in India have yet to begin, so the film’s domestic performance remains to be seen.

Devara: Part 1 stars Jr NTR in dual roles as Devara and Varadha (Deva and Vara), with Saif Ali Khan playing the kushti expert Bhaira and Janhvi Kapoor as Thangam. The film’s soundtrack, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, includes three songs—”Fear Song,” “Chuttamalle,” and “Daavudi”—which have received mixed reviews. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
