The highly-anticipated film Devara, starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, continues to impress at the box office as it crosses the significant Rs 100 crore mark in India on its second release day.

According to Sacnilk.com, Devara garnered Rs 82.5 crore (nett) on its opening day and sustained its momentum by earning Rs 40 crore (nett) on the second day, bringing the total collection to an impressive Rs 122.19 crore (nett).

Released pan-India in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada – the film showcased varying occupancy levels across regions on Saturday. With an overall occupancy of 60.23 per cent in Telugu, 18.15 per cent in Hindi, 28.02 per cent in Kannada, 24.89 per cent in Tamil, and 15.95 per cent in Malayalam, Devara drew viewers from diverse linguistic demographics.

Despite a noticeable drop from its remarkable first-day collection, the movie managed to secure a net collection of Rs 40 crore on day 2. The Telugu version emerged as the strongest performer, earning  Rs 29.4 crore. Directed by Koratala Siva, with Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, Devara: Part 1 marks the return of superstar Jr NTR after his international success with RRR.

On its debut, Devara raked in a colossal  Rs 82.5 crore, representing a 51.52 per cent increase over its second-day earnings. The Hindi version of the film emerged as the second highest earner, amassing  Rs 9 crore on the second day. The Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions also contributed to the cumulative collection, securing earnings of  Rs 0.35 crore, Rs 1 crore, and  Rs 0.25 crore, respectively.

The film’s total earnings of  Rs 122.5 crore over the two days underscore its widespread appeal and box office dominance. With an exceptional 80.25 per cent occupancy rate in Hyderabad, Devara commanded audiences across different show timings, with night shows boasting 94 per cent occupancy, followed by 87 per cent per cent in the evening and 78 per cent in the afternoon. Warangal and Guntur followed closely with occupancy rates of 71.25 per cent and 72.50 per cent, respectively.

In Devara, Jr NTR takes on a dual role as Devara and Varadha, anchoring a narrative steeped in power struggles against a coastal backdrop.

As Devara: Part 1 continues its triumphant run at the box office, fans eagerly anticipate further milestones and achievements for this cinematic gem.
