Actor Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he had become an alcoholic by the time the ‘Harry Potter’ series ended.
In Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, the 26-year-old actor said that he was living alone, adding “I think I was really freaked out and I drank a lot,” Us Weekly reports.
Radcliffe said that his alcohol dependence resulted from the fear of returning to reality after playing `Harry Potter` for more than a decade.
He said that it was more to do with going out in public and having a battle within me of thinking no, ‘I can have a totally normal life.’
The ‘Horns’ star has got many lead roles after the J.K. Rowling’s popular boy wizard ended and said that he was grateful for the numerous opportunities.
