Indian rapper Badshah is setting the stage on fire across North America with his ongoing Unfinished USA Tour. The rapper, known for his infectious energy and groovy numbers, recently created a viral moment during his New Jersey concert when he added a political twist to one of his performances. Here’s what happened.
Badshah takes a dig at Donald Trump
While performing the popular track “Tareefan” from the movie Veere Di Wedding, Badshah caught fans by surprise when he improvised one of the song’s signature lines. Instead of singing the original lyric, “Kinniya Tareefan Chahidi Ae Tenu” (How many compliments do you want), he cheekily replaced it with, “Kinni Tariff Chahidiye Trump Ko” (How much tariff does Trump want).
The witty wordplay instantly struck a chord with the audience, which drew loud cheers and laughter from them. The reference was aimed at former US President Donald Trump amid ongoing conversations around tariffs and trade.
