Baahubali The Epic Box Office Collection Day 5: SS Rajamouli, the visionary behind the Baahubali saga, returned on October 31 with something grander than ever, Baahubali: The Epic. This four-hour master cut brings together Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into a single, larger-than-life cinematic experience. With the advance booking collections crossing Rs 10 crore worldwide, the Baahubali fans proved their mass following once again.

Blending the iconic battle sequences of the original films with enhanced, cutting-edge visuals, Baahubali: The Epic left audiences in awe once again. What began as a re-release soon turned into a phenomenon, rewriting box-office history.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film opened with more than Rs 10 crore on day one in India, setting a new benchmark for re-releases and surpassing Vijay’s Ghilli, which had held the previous record with Rs 4.87 crore. After a humble beginning, Baahubali The Epic collected over Rs 7 crore on its first Saturday and more than Rs 6 crore on Sunday.

After an eventful Rs 13 crore weekend, the sales saw a sharp decline to less than Rs 2 crore on Monday. After grossing Rs 1.5 crore on Tuesday, the new Baahubali moved closer to Rs 30 crore. Currently, the Prabhas-Daggubati starrer stands at Rs 27.6 crore.

This Rajamouli directorial stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamanna Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Ramya Krishnan in key roles. And, the re-release chronicles the story of Mahishmati, the power struggle, and takes you through the rise of Amarendra Baahubali.

However, the occupancy rates dipped on the weekdays too, with 14.45% of Baahubali in Telugu. Hyderabad saw an 18% occupancy across its 326 shows, while Bengaluru saw 16.75%. Interestingly, Baahubali The Epic in Hindi reported higher numbers, with 25% occupancy in night screenings alone. With 185 shows in Delhi NCR, 15.5% occupancy stunned the cult favourite.
