Baahubali: The Epic Box Office Collection Day 4: SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Epic continues to draw audiences to theatres, even eight years after the franchise first began. Released on October 31, the re-edited version of the blockbuster saga stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.

According to early trade estimates from Sacnilk, Baahubali: The Epic collected around Rs 1.35 crore net in India on its first Monday, taking its total domestic earnings to Rs 26 crore. The film had opened on a strong note with Rs 1.15 crore from premieres on Thursday, followed by Rs 9.65 crore on Friday. Over the weekend, it added Rs 7.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.3 crore on Sunday.

While Monday saw a noticeable drop, trade experts say this was expected given it’s a weekday. Still, the film’s total opening weekend of Rs 24.35 crore in India and Rs 39.75 crore worldwide indicates strong audience interest, impressive numbers for a re-release. The original Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) had collected Rs 650 crore worldwide, while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) broke records with Rs 1788.06 crore.

What’s new in Baahubali: The Epic

Unlike the previous releases, Baahubali: The Epic is a remastered cut that combines both films, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, into one continuous story. The movie has been trimmed to 3 hours and 44 minutes, compared to the original combined length which was over five hours.

Fans have appreciated how smoothly the two parts now blend together, making the story feel like a single grand narrative rather than two separate films.
