Baahubali The Epic Box Office Collection Day 1: SS Rajamouli, the creator of the Baahubali universe, released his latest on October 31. A combined, bigger, and bolder version of the first two films, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, The Epic was born. After collecting more than Rs 10 crore worldwide ahead of the release from advance bookings, it was evident that the excitement in the fans would only soar higher.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Baahubali: The Epic collected over Rs 10 crore on its opening day in India. Making history for movie re-releases. It broke the record for Vijay’s Ghilli, which opened with Rs 4.87 crore. Moreover, it also left behind Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja (Rs 5.75 crore) and even fresh releases like Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude and the popular mythological drama Lokah Chapter 1.

In fact, the record-breaking occupancy was a treat for the makers, too. With an overall 63% occupancy in Telugu, Baahubali: The Epic continues to remain a cult-favourite. Night shows remained extremely popular across the nearly 1000 shows scheduled across Telugu-dominated regions. Baahubali’s new movie cemented its popularity in Hyderabad across the 426 shows with a 69.25% occupancy rate.

Baahubali: The Epic has also had a stellar international release and received an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience. Re-released across 1,150 cinemas worldwide, 400 screens in the US, 210 in the UK and Ireland have hosted the film. Fans from the UAE, Australia, and Southeast Asia are eager to watch the cult-favourite too.
