Chris Martin Pays Tribute to India

During Coldplay’s performance at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, lead vocalist Chris Martin paused his high-energy set to ensure the safety of a fan in distress. As the crowd surged forward, he stopped the concert to prevent the fan from being injured, resuming the show only after confirming their safety.

The moment was met with cheers from the audience. Later, Chris noticed a couple holding a banner with a special request and invited them on stage. This was followed by a stunning performance of Everglow. Additionally, Chris paid tribute to India by performing Vande Mataram on Republic Day.
