State Bank of India (SBI) has announced to hire 996 specialists for its wealth management division. The bank has announced these openings through its Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) advertisement. The posts include Relationship Managers (RM) and Customer Relationship Executives (CRE) in major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi.
These fixed-term roles involve handling affluent and high-net-worth clients, recommending investment and insurance products and helping the bank increase income from client portfolios rather than deposits.
Eligible candidates can apply online on the official website, sbi.bank.in, until December 23. Applicants must meet the required educational qualifications and relevant work experience based on the post they choose.
What is the eligibility criteria?
VP wealth (Senior Relationship Manager)
-Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred: MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing with 60% marks)
-Preferred certifications: NISM V-A, NISM XXI-A, CFP, CFA
-Experience: Minimum six years in sales and marketing with top banks, wealth firms or asset management companies
AVP wealth (Relationship Manager)
-Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred: Post-graduation in Finance, Marketing or Banking)
-Preferred certifications: NISM V-A, NISM XXI-A, CFP, CFA
-Experience: Three years in sales and marketing with leading banks, wealth firms or AMCs; SBI Wealth CREs need 3 years, others four years
Customer Relationship Executive (CRE)
-Qualification: Graduation
-Preferred: Experience in financial product paperwork and good communication skills
-Mandatory: Valid two-wheeler driving licence
