Ayesha Ansari, the daughter of an auto-driver, has made history by clearing the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exam and securing a position as Deputy Collector. Her journey is an inspiring tale of hard work, dedication, and the power of education, despite the odds stacked against her.

Ayesha Ansari completed her graduation in 2020, and since then, she dedicated herself to preparing for the MPPSC exam. Her hard work paid off after four years of rigorous preparation, during which her family and friends stood by her, offering unwavering support. Ayesha emphasises that education is not just important for individuals but is also essential for the development of society as a whole. “Education is a great tool not just for the Muslim community, but for the development of the whole society,” she said, expressing gratitude for the opportunities her parents couldn’t access.

Her parents, who did not have the chance to educate themselves, always supported her educational aspirations. Ayesha’s father recalls how she kept studying relentlessly, and how they never stopped her from pursuing her dreams. “We encouraged her to study as much as she wanted,” he said. Her mother also shared the same sentiment, noting that Ayesha never asked for anything and that her father was her biggest motivator.

Role of Family Support

The role of Ayesha’s parents in her journey cannot be understated. While Ayesha never demanded anything from them, they encouraged her to pursue her studies without any limitations. Her father’s support, along with her own determination, became the backbone of her success. Ayesha’s story highlights how crucial parental encouragement and belief are in the path to success, especially when resources and opportunities are limited.

Ayesha’s success is echoed by another inspiring woman, Deepika Patidar from Dewas, who topped the MPPSC 2022 exam with 902.75 marks. Deepika’s journey is also a testament to resilience. After four failed attempts, she finally emerged as the top scorer in her fifth attempt, securing the coveted Deputy Collector position.

Deepika’s story is one of relentless determination, having started her journey in the Public Service Commission (PSC) in 2016, initially preparing for UPSC exams in Delhi before shifting her focus to MPPSC. She continued to prepare while staying in a hostel in Indore from 2019 onwards. “The happiness is indescribable; everyone is overjoyed after waiting for six years. This success is an inspiration for all girls that with preparation, you can achieve your dreams,” Deepika said, reflecting on her six-year-long journey toward success.

Importance of Perseverance and Preparation

Deepika’s achievement serves as a reminder that success doesn’t come overnight. It is a result of sustained effort, focus, and unwavering dedication. The struggles she faced along the way, including multiple failed attempts, made her eventual triumph even more rewarding. Her success is a powerful message to young women across the country, showing them that with determination and hard work, they too can achieve their goals.

Both Ayesha Ansari and Deepika Patidar have not only overcome their challenges but also become inspirations for future generations. Their stories emphasize that despite the hurdles, whether financial, social, or emotional, success is achievable. They are shining examples of how education, persistence, and family support can help individuals break barriers and pave the way for others.

As Ayesha Ansari embarks on her new role as Deputy Collector, her success will surely motivate countless other girls, especially from marginalised communities, to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with the same grit and determination that she demonstrated. Her story is a reminder that with the right mindset, no dream is too big to achieve.
