SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Keys 2025 likely to be out soon: Check steps to download at ssc.gov.in
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is most likely to release the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) Tier 1 Answer Keys 2025 today, October 15. The Tier 1 exams were successfully conducted across 255 centres in 126 cities within a span of 15 days. Around 13.5 lakh candidates appeared from 28 lakh registered candidates.
Notably, the commission announced the successful completion of the rescheduled test on October 14, which was disrupted due to a fire incident at a Mumbai centre. In a post on X, SSC wrote, “The CGLE-2025 exam for rescheduled candidates was successfully conducted today over 44 centres across the country. The challenge for CGLE-2025 will be made live subsequently in a day or two.” The rescheduled test also included the candidates whom the commission alleged of malpractices during the exam.

In an earlier notice issued on September 26, SSC stated that, “The Challenge for CGLE Questions will commence around 15th October.” The appeared candidates will be able to access the provision answer key and response sheet through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, and raise objections within a stipulated period by paying the prescribed fee. It further mentioned that “Such candidates will be made to appear for re-exam to be held on October 14, 2025.”
When and how to download the SSC CGL Tier 1 2025 answer key?
Candidates will be able to access the SSC CGL Tier 1 answer key once released through the official portal at ssc.gov.in.
The provision answer key is usually uploaded under the “Answer Key” section on the homepage. Along with this, a “Response Sheet” link will be activated for candidates to check their marked responses.
How to check the SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2025:
Step 1: Go to the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Get to the homepage and click on the “Answer Key” tab under the “Latest News” section.
Step 3: Click on the link for “Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier 1) 2025 Answer Key.”
Step 4: Log in using your roll number and password or registration ID.
Step 5: View and download the answer key and response sheet for future reference.
The Commission will also open a short window for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key, generally for two to three days after release. Candidates can submit objections online by paying a stipulated per question, after which the final answer key and result will be declared.
Apart from the CGL update, the Commission also announced the schedule for other upcoming exams. The CHSL Tier 1 examination will begin in the fourth week of October 2025, followed by the SI CPO, Junior Engineer (JE), and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) exams. Application windows for Delhi Police and SI CPO 2025 are currently open, while the Constable GD 2026 registration will commence in November. Candidates are advised to keep checking the SSC website for updates on exam dates, answer keys, and Tier 2 schedules.
