UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), which conducted the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 on May 25, is expected to release the result by the second week of June. Students who have appeared for the examinations are eagerly waiting for the results. The examination consisted of two objective-type papers. Paper I is on General Studies, and Paper II is based on the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). As per the previous year’s trend, prelims results are usually declared around 15 to 20 days after the examination.

Steps to follow for checking UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 results-

Step 1: Candidates will need to visit the official website-upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Locate the link that says ‘UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Results’ on the homepage and click on it.

Step 3: Download the PDF file containing the roll numbers.

Step 4: Search your name on the merit list.

Candidates who clear the Prelims round will be eligible to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination, which is slated to take place on August 22, 2025.

What’s next?

After the announcement of the results has been made, candidates who have made it through will be required to fill up a Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Main Examination. The notification for the release of the DAF-I submission form will be declared soon after the results are out.

UPSC aspirants are advised to start their preparation for the Main Examination. Enhance their writing skills as the Mains examination syllabus is comprehensive, and to stay updated with the current affairs. Students can also benefit by practising previous years’ papers.
