Association of ed-tech Providers (ASEP) has recently introduced the Coimbatore chapter of “Edvention: The Reinvention of Schooling.” Through this initiative, ASEP aims to collaborate with policy makers and education leaders, delving into real-world challenges to gain a deeper understanding of the K-12 ecosystem’s requirements. The objective is to revolutionise teaching and learning experiences using educational technology solutions, according to an official release.

This event showcased the advancements in education, focusing on enhancing learning encounters through artificial intelligence (AI), gamification, personalisation and simplification of STEM education. The goal is to enhance student engagement, enable personalised learning and boost academic achievements. Edvention serves as a platform, bringing together K-12 educators and educational infrastructure developers to discuss and comprehend the challenges and necessities of our education system at the grassroots level, the release mentioned.

“In today’s age, technology empowers educational institutions globally, unlocking unprecedented opportunities. ASEP’s mission is to craft engaging and holistic learning environments that foster perpetual education, hone vital life skills, and aid educators in cultivating student enthusiasm. With this initiative, we strive to equip educators, the academic community, and above all, students, with tools to shape the educational journey of tomorrow,” CP Vishwanath, co-founder, CEO, Karadi Path Education, said.

“Through Edvention, ASEP has initiated a dialogue tailored for the K-12 landscape. Together with fellow members, we want to be ecosystem enablers and maximize the potential of technology in education, transforming outcomes for all. We look forward to further chapters and engaging with educators nationwide as the immense potential benefits of technology—efficiency, effectiveness, and information parity— begin to be harnessed in education worldwide,” said Mihir Gupta, Co-founder and CEO, Teachmint.

More than 100 education stakeholders, including educators, school leaders and policy makers, gathered to discuss the role of technology in modern classrooms. They emphasised integrating generative AI and ChatGPT. ASEP, with 18 members, aims to bridge gaps in education and enhance digital infrastructure for educators and learners in the digital age, the release added.
