Latest reports say that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has prepared more than 20,000 packets of the ‘mahaprasad’ of the consecration ceremony. After the pran pratishtha ceremony concludes at 1 pm, the Mandir officials will distribute the packets of mahaprasad among the dignitaries and VVIPs, who are attending the ceremony.

Latest reports say that the mahaprasad of the pran pratishtha ceremony has been prepared using pure ‘desi ghee’. Along with this, other key ingredients include panch meva (dry fruits of five different varieties), cheeni (sugar), besan (gram flour). The Ayodhya mahaprasad also contains water from the sacred Saryu River. Apart from Saryu Jal in a small bottle, the mahaprasad box also contains kalawa (sacred cotton red thread), akshat (unbroken rice) and supari (betel nuts).

The Shri Ram Mandir pran pratishtha ‘mahaprasad’ has been prepared by Gujarat-based Bhagwa Sena Bharti Garvi and Sant Seva Sansthan. These two groups have worked under the guidance of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. A team consisting of over 200 people has prepared the mahaprasad with over 5,000 kilogram of ingredients.

The Ram Mandir trust is also providing food to more than 5,000 saints, who are currently residing at Udaasin Ashram Ranopali. They receive daily meals along with essential kits containing a blanket, pillow, and bedsheet.
