The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Northwest India may receive rainfall along with strong winds, hail, and thunderstorms today. A fresh rain spell is likely to take place in the next four days. The National Capital is projected to have a cloudy sky, with a possibility of light rain and windy weather.
Heat Wave conditions:
Heat Wave conditions will persist in isolated regions of Odisha from today and will prevail till April 19th.
IMD’s Forecast and Warnings:
A cyclonic circulation is positioned over West Rajasthan in bottom tropospheric levels and another one in Northwest Uttar Pradesh. A fresh Western Disturbance is probably to take place in Northwest India in the next two days. And because of these weather patterns there will be fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied with lightning, gusty winds, and thunderstorms at Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Gilgit, Ladakh and Baltistan today.
Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat State, Chandigarh is likely to have dispersed rainfall along with thunderstorm, lightning and stormy weather on April 15th.
Hailstorm activity is also projected to occur at Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. As per IMD, snowfall along with rainfall chances are also there over Ladakh, Baltistan, Jammu Kashmir, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit from today and will continue till April 19th.
An intense Western Disturbance is expected to make a shift from Northwest India and will move in the direction of Northeast India, as result it will experience fresh moisture feeding in the region of Bay of Bengal and will extend to Northeast India.
A moderate rainfall along with snowfall with isolated thunderstorm and lightning is predicted to occur at Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam from tomorrow will persist till April 21st. A heavy downpour is likely to happen at Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh today and tomorrow.
Temperature To Watch:
No significant change has been forecast for Central India over the next three days with gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2-4°C , similarly there will be specific changes in maximum temperature over the rest of India.
