A recent claim made by Pakistani Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb regarding the destruction of India’s S-400 air defence system during a supposed retaliatory strike has been debunked. Images from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Adampur Air Base in Punjab clearly show the S-400 system fully intact and operational.

Aurangzeb, in a viral video, claimed that Pakistan had identified and targeted the S-400 system using satellite imagery and advanced drones, calling the high-value system a “center of gravity” for the Indian Air Force. He also alleged that the coordinates were accurately pinpointed through satellite-based geo-rectification before the strike.

However, these statements are now being questioned. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw posted a fact-check on social media, pointing to PM Modi’s recent interaction with Indian Air Force personnel at Adampur. The visuals from the visit, which included the S-400 battery, contradict the Pakistani Air Vice Marshal’s claim.

One user commented, “Contrary to claims that Pakistan’s air strikes destroyed India’s S-400 system at Adampur Air Force Station, recent images from Prime Minister Modi’s visit confirm that both the S-400 and the base remain completely intact.”

The Adampur Air Base is one of India’s key strategic installations in Punjab, and the presence of the S-400 system there is considered a significant part of India’s air defence network.
