Authorities claim that the video not only showcased but also involved the killing of a protected species. To verify the video’s claims, forest officials collected samples for forensic testing.
Sircilla Superintendent of Police (SP) Akhil Mahajan announced that a case has been filed against Kumar. “A case was registered under relevant sections and strictest action would be taken against him and anyone else doing such activities,” he said in a post on X.
