Former Indian captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly’s car met with a severe accident on the Durgapur Expressway. Reports indicate that the accident occurred near Dantanpur.

According to sources, Ganguly’s car sustained some damage. He was on his way to Bardhaman to attend an event when the incident took place. Heavy rains had begun in Dantanpur, much like other parts of the state. As Ganguly’s Range Rover was moving at a controlled speed, a lorry coming from the opposite direction collided with his car, causing it to lose control.

The driver quickly regained control and applied the brakes, preventing a major disaster. However, the sudden halt led to multiple vehicles crashing into one another from behind, including a car that hit Ganguly’s vehicle. Fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries in the accident. After ensuring the situation was under control, Ganguly waited by the roadside for some time before proceeding to the scheduled event. Reports confirm that Ganguly is safe and unharmed.

The Indian cricket team made a thunderous start to the Champions Trophy with a victory in their opening match, doubling the joy of cricket fans.
