A woman was dragged on the bonnet of a speeding car for nearly a kilometer in Haryana’s Sonipat after rushing to help her son, who was being attacked. The attack stemmed from a heated argument between two teenagers over an Instagram comment, escalating into violence.

The horrifying scene, caught on camera, has gone viral on social media. The video shows the woman clinging to the car’s bonnet as the driver speeds away, refusing to stop. The police have launched an investigation.

The dispute began between two teenagers, Rishabh and Satvik, after an argument over an objectionable Instagram comment. When Rishabh’s elder brother tried to mediate, tensions worsened. On March 8, Satvik and his friends lured Rishabh and his brother to Model Town, where they ambushed and beat them before fleeing.

The violence continued the next day when Rishabh went out to buy milk. Satvik and his friends attacked him again. Desperate, Rishabh called his mother, Pooja, for help. When Pooja and her relatives arrived, the attackers rammed her with their car, causing her to land on the bonnet. Instead of stopping, they drove at high speed for nearly a kilometer with her still on the vehicle.

Pooja eventually managed to jump off when the car slowed. She later accused the police of neglecting the case and attempting to cover it up. Authorities have now initiated an investigation against the attackers.
