Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has initiated a magisterial inquiry into the recent boiler explosion at a spare parts manufacturing facility in Rewari district, which left 40 workers injured.
Officials on Sunday informed that the Chief Minister has directed a Sub Divisional Magistrate to conduct the probe. Expressing concern for the injured workers, Saini has instructed the Rewari Deputy Commissioner to ensure they receive the best possible medical treatment.
DPR Haryana said, “Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh expressed grief over the boiler explosion at a factory in Dharuhera. CM instructed the Deputy Commissioner to immediately provide first aid and complete treatment to the injured. He also gave instructions for a magisterial inquiry under the chairmanship of SDM Rewari. The inquiry committee will investigate and submit its report within the stipulated period.”
40 workers injured in factory blast
Around 40 workers were rushed to various hospitals with burn injuries after a blast in the manufacturing facility in the industrial area of Dharuhera in Rewari on Saturday, according to police reports.
The injured workers were provided with immediate medical attention. Many were transported to Rewari’s Civil Hospital, while the others were referred to medical facilities in Gurugram, Dharuhera, and Rewari.
A seriously injured worker was referred to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak.
