During a recent visit to Ayodhya, Prime Minister Modi was warmly welcomed by hundreds of residents, including Iqbal Ansari, who lined the streets despite the chilly morning.

As Modi inaugurated a redeveloped railway station, a newly built airport, and laid the foundation stone for several other projects in Uttar Pradesh, Ansari welcomed the PM with rose petals, expressing, “He (Modi) has come to our place. He is our guest and our Prime Minister.”

Stressing that the verdict had long been accepted, Ansari noted, “The case finished on November 9, 2019. Muslims across the country respected and accepted the verdict. All that is in the past… It’s over now. Today, the Prime Minister visited our town and people of my mohalla were standing to welcome him so I also joined them.”
