In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has transferred over 100 IAS officers, including several top officials, in a bid to bring fresh perspectives and efficiency to governance, reported PTI.
According to an official order released by the Department of Personnel late on Thursday night, 96 officers have been transferred, while 10 IAS officers, who were previously awaiting postings, have now been assigned new responsibilities. Key figures in the reshuffle include the divisional commissioners of Jaipur and Banswara, along with the collectors of 13 districts, including Jaipur. These strategic shifts are expected to impact key areas of administration across the state.
However, some senior officials, such as Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance), and Anand Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Home Department, have retained their positions. Arora, who has been in charge of the finance department since the Congress government took office, remains a crucial figure in the financial administration. Similarly, Kumar, who has held his post since 2022, continues to oversee the home department during this reshuffle.
