Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting his hometown Gujarat, for the first time after India launched Operation Sindoor against the terror camps in Pakistan, in retaliation of the deadly Pahalgam attack on April 22. This a two-day visit during which the PM will be inaugurating and laying foundation stones for multiple infrastructure projects worth over Rs 82,000 crore.
PM Modi held a roadshow in Vadodara on May 26th where he was showered with flowers. Many students, national and international were also seen at the roadshow.

Dahod Visit: PM Modi will inaugurate the Loco Manufacturing Shop-Rolling Stock Workshop and address a public meeting in Kharod, Dahod.
Rail & Govt Projects: The PM will lay the foundation for railway and other government projects worth Rs 24,000 crore. The PM will also flag off the Somnath–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express and open a Rs 21,000 crore railway production unit in Dahod under ‘Make in India’.
Drinking Water Projects: The PM will launch 4 water supply schemes worth Rs 181 crore to provide clean water to over 4.62 lakh people in 193 villages and one town.
Bhuj Visit: PM Modi will launch and lay the foundation for development works worth Rs 53,000 crore, including port, solar, power, and road projects across several districts in Gujarat.
