A video has surfaced on social media where a man can be seen throwing cash on the streets from a luxury car reportedly in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.
In the video, the passenger sitting on the front seat of a luxury Range Rover SUV car can be seen casually throwing cash on the road.
Sharing the video, a user wrote on X with the caption, “Display of wealth at its heights on the roads of Noida. A man in a luxury car is seen throwing away the notes. Video made from another car. The video is going viral on social media. It is said that it is from the Sector 20 area.” The user also tagged Uttar Pradesh Police and others.
Responding to the post, Noida police said in a post on X that action has been initiated against the concerned vehicle owner for alleged violation of traffic rules. An e-challan has been issued against the owner.
The owner of the car with the number ‘UP16CM0047’ has been fined Rs 21,000, police said.
The person has been booked under several sections of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
