In a twist to the Pune Porsche car accident investigation, it has been learnt that the blood sample of the minor was swapped at the Sassoon General Hospital with his mother, reports The Indian Express.

A three-member committee probing into the alleged manipulation of the blood samples of the teenager involved in the Pune Porsche crash will submit its report to the Maharashtra government on Wednesday, according to an official, reports PTI.

On Monday, the Maharashtra Medical Education (MME) Department formed the committee headed by Dr Pallavi Sapale, dean of Mumbai-based Grants Medical College.

“The report is being prepared and it will be submitted to the state government. The details of it cannot be divulged at this moment,” said Dr Sapale in a statement.

On May 19, the minor allegedly drove a Porsche car at high speed while he was drunk, killing two software engineers in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area. There were four people in the car – minor boy, who was allegedly driving the car, his driver and two friends. Police said that teenager, son of builder Vishal Agarwal, was drunk at the time of the incident.

The minor boy’s father has been arested.

On Tuesday, a special investigation team was sent to the Hospital, who questioned several officials and also got hands on the CCTV footage.
