‘Main Tera Hero’ box office collections reach Rs 22.73 crore on Varun Dhawan over-the-top theatrics

Varun Dhawan’s ‘Main Tera Hero’ opened well with box office collections reaching Rs 22.73 crore in three days.

‘Main Tera Hero’ elicited 50% to 60% response from theatre-goers although the response was slightly lower at places.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh praised the performance of the film on Sunday.

“#MainTeraHero Fri 6.60 cr, Sat 8.03 cr, Sun 8.10 cr. Total: ₹ 22.73 cr nett. India biz… Despite cricket match, performed very well on Sun,” he tweeted.

‘Main Tera Hero’, which casts Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri, was directed by David Dhawan and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures.
