An Army jawan on leave sustained injuries on Wednesday after being fired upon by terrorists in the Tral area of Awantipora, Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, official sources reported.

The jawan, who had returned to his home during leave, suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to sources, his condition is stable, providing relief amidst heightened tensions in the region.
