The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a formation of a low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal around November 14. “It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over Central and adjoining South Bay of Bengal around November 16,” IMD said in a statement.The light or moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall is very likely over few parts such as Lakshadweep, Kerala and Mahe. Andaman and Nicobar Islands will experience light/moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over the next seven days.

- Delhi: In the national capital, the sky will remain clear with a shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 27 and 14 degrees Celsius respectively. On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 27.7 and 13.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
- West Bengal, Sikkim: The sky will remain clear in Kolkata on Sunday. The state capital will experience maximum and minimum temperatures of around 30 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively. Dry weather most likely over Sikkim and all the districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal.
- Jammu and Kashmir: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness dry weather today. Srinagar is expected to experience a minimum temperature of 8.1 degrees Celsisus while cities like Gulmarg, Jammu, Pahalgam, Banihal, Katra and Kupwara will witness -3.9, 13, 5, 8.2, 11.8 and 12.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
- Kerala: Thunderstorms with lightning accompanied by gusty winds, speed reaching 30-40 Kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kerala on Sunday. Thunderstorms with lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places in Kerala on 14th and 15th November 2023.
- Himachal Pradesh: Shimla, the capital city, is set to experience sunny weather today. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 19 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively. The dry weather will prevail in lower hills, middle hills and higher reaches. In the last 24 hours, the lowest temperature was recorded at Keylong at -0.6 degree Celsius.
